Skips R Us, established in 2008 and was incorporated in Northern Ireland on 25 August 2010. In this time Skips R Us have grown into one of Ireland’s premier waste management companies. Set up with the aim of providing an expansive, cost-effective waste management service to public bodies, commercial and private users alike, Skips R Us has built its reputation on an unrivalled level of customer service.
Offering a comprehensive and innovative range of waste management and recycling services, Skips R Us provide for the collection, management, recycling and redistribution of a large variety of waste streams.
Initially specialising in skip hire, the business and its facilities have evolved with a significant part of the business now involving the provision of waste management services for external waste contractors and local councils. While our expertise covers numerous business types, we are specialists within the construction sector and have industry leading processes in place at our facility to cater for waste generated by this sector. Skips R Us has and continues to diversify and improve its practices in how we manage and recycle waste recovered to our facility in our efforts to be a market leader within our industry. The company serves a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to large enterprises. in both Northern Ireland (NI) and the Republic of Ireland (ROI).
Operations are based at the company’s modern, purpose-built facility in County Armagh. This facility, as well as being conveniently located between Belfast and Dublin with easy access to the adjoining motorway and close to the ports of Dundalk (10 miles), Drogheda (30 miles), Greenore (22 miles) and Warrenpoint (25 miles), is equipped to exceed European recycling standards, not just meet them.
Our facility is licensed to handle and recycle 75,000 tonnes of Construction & Demolition (C&D) Waste per annum. This expansive license permits Skips R Us to run many processes in the facility including, but not limited to, crushing, screening, shredding, bailing, washing and energy recovery both internally and externally. Skips R Us is one of the few companies in Northern Ireland with such an extensive permitting license. Skips R Us also hold a UK Waste Carriers License and an Irish National Waste Collection Permit for ROI. Due to the company’s unique location, Waste Licenses have been acquired for both UK and Irish jurisdictions. In addition, Skips R Us are a licensed waste broker, allowing the company to arrange the import and export of waste materials to and from their facility.
Skips R Us supply a large range of skips for hire to commercial and domestic customers including mini skips, builder skips, industrial skips and large-scale roll on/roll off skips. The main areas covered by the skip hire division of the business include the Newry & Mourne area and counties Armagh, Tyrone, Louth and Monaghan.
